Apr\u00e8s plus de 18 semaines de comp\u00e9tition, les finalistes Mohamed Cheikh et Sarah Mainguy se sont affront\u00e9s lors d\u2019une ultime \u00e9preuve, celle de proposer un menu complet pour 70 b\u00e9n\u00e9voles de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.croix-rouge.fr\/\">Croix-Rouge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plus de dix heures de travail, c\u2019est finalement <strong>Mohamed<\/strong> qui remporte la finale de la saison 12 de Top Chef\u00a0! Retour sur son parcours.<\/p>\n<h2>Petit gars d\u2019un quartier\u00a0populaire\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>Ayant grandi dans un quartier populaire \u00e0 Fontenay-sous-Bois dans le Val-de-Marne, Mohamed a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 sa passion pour la cuisine gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa grand-m\u00e8re alg\u00e9rienne. Apr\u00e8s son BEP en poche, Mohamed tente de trouver sa place dans la gastronomie fran\u00e7aise. Ayant re\u00e7u de nombreuses critiques racistes au d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re, il ne s\u2019est jamais d\u00e9courag\u00e9 et a su s\u2019imposer dans les plus grands palaces parisiens. Il a d\u2019ailleurs forg\u00e9 son exp\u00e9rience aupr\u00e8s d\u2019Eric Fr\u00e9chon, chef 3 \u00e9toiles, mais aussi dans des restaurants prestigieux comme le Royal Monceau et le Shangri-La.<\/p>\n<h2>Cuisine m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne gastronomique<\/h2>\n<p>Tout au long de son parcours dans Top Chef, Mohamed a su proposer une cuisine riche en \u00e9pices et en saveurs m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes. Son ascension a d\u2019ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 fulgurante dans le concours culinaire puisqu\u2019il a remport\u00e9 plus de 8 \u00e9preuves.<\/p>\n<p>On retiendra, entre-autres, sa victoire \u00e0 la g<em>uerre des restos<\/em>, au c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Mathias avec leur restaurant <em>Nomade<\/em>, mais aussi de sa relation privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e avec le chef Pierre Gagnaire ou encore des compliments d\u2019Arnaud Donckele sur sa cuisine et sa superbe sauce.
