Bien s\u00fbr, de la premi\u00e8re baignoire \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel robotis\u00e9, le secteur a bien \u00e9volu\u00e9. Mais comment les \u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs, tels que la crise sanitaire actuelle, ont impact\u00e9 le secteur de l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie au fil des ann\u00e9es\u00a0? Comment le secteur s\u2019est-il adapt\u00e9 au niveau technologie suite \u00e0 ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements\u00a0? En tout cas, il reste du chemin \u00e0 parcourir, comme le montre l\u2019infographie.<\/p>\n<h2>La crise du coronavirus \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re place<\/h2>\n<p>R\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de donn\u00e9es h\u00f4teli\u00e8res et d\u2019un travail de recherche fastidieux sur Google, l\u2019infographie d\u00e9montre que parmi tous les \u00e9v\u00e9nements ayant eu lieu en 200 ans, c\u2019est la covid-19 qui a provoqu\u00e9 le plus de d\u00e9g\u00e2ts dans le secteur h\u00f4telier. Martin Soler, consultant dans la r\u00e9alisation du projet, l\u2019affirme\u00a0:\u00a0<em>\u00ab\u00a0Les attentats du 11 septembre, la crise des subprimes 2008\u2026 Ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements ont eu un impact sur le tourisme, mais pas aussi important que celui que nous connaissons actuellement\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La question qui se pose \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, c\u2019est de savoir comme le secteur va r\u00e9agir \u00e0 cette ann\u00e9e catastrophique. Pour Martin Soler, l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie n\u2019a pas encore saisi l\u2019importance de la technologie et de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience client\u00a0:<em> \u00ab\u00a0Beaucoup pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent changer les matelas que leur PMS (logiciel de gestion des h\u00f4teliers, ndlr). Ils ne comprennent pas que le confort doit d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre num\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Le sp\u00e9cialiste \u00e9voque notamment la situation de Paris, o\u00f9 les h\u00f4teliers n\u2019ont jamais vraiment du faire d\u2019efforts pour attirer le client ou le touriste. Selon lui, pour survivre, les h\u00f4tels doivent miser sur une nouvelle client\u00e8le, plus locale, et qui ne se contentera pas d\u2019avoir la Tour Eiffel \u00e0 proximit\u00e9. Il faut donc revoir toute l\u2019exp\u00e9rience client.<\/p>\n<h2>Repenser l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience client<\/h2>\n<p>Proposer une valeur ajout\u00e9e, c\u2019est le d\u00e9fi pour les h\u00f4teliers. <em>\u00ab Auparavant, lorsqu\u2019on allait \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel, on avait acc\u00e8s \u00e0 plein de cha\u00eenes \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, c\u2019\u00e9tait le grand luxe. Maintenant, on est oblig\u00e9s de regarder Netflix sur l\u2019\u00e9cran de notre smartphone car l\u2019h\u00f4tel ne propose ni le service, ni le chromecast \u00bb<\/em>, conclut Martin Soler.
