De quoi faire des jaloux dans le milieu de la gastronomie \u2026<\/p>\n<h2>Alain Ducasse \u00e0 la t\u00eate du Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e depuis 20 ans<\/h2>\n<p>Surprise, le chef triplement \u00e9toil\u00e9, Alain Ducasse, quitte les cuisines du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorchestercollection.com\/fr\/paris\/hotel-plaza-athenee\/\">Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e<\/a>, apr\u00e8s plus de 20 ans de bons loyaux et services. Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse, la direction pr\u00e9cise que \u00ab <em>le partenariat qui unissait Le Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e et Alain Ducasse ne sera pas renouvel\u00e9 \u00e0 son \u00e9ch\u00e9ance, le 30 juin prochain <\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Souhaitant se renouveler et changer de style, le Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e a fait appel \u00e0 Jean Imbert. Toujours dans ce communiqu\u00e9, la direction annonce : \u00ab <em>Jean Imbert a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi par l\u2019h\u00f4tel Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e<\/em><em><strong>,<\/strong><\/em><em> membre de la Dorchester Collection, pour prendre la succession d\u2019Alain Ducasse en tant que chef des cuisines de l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019h\u00f4tel.<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Un r\u00eave qui devient la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 pour le jeune chef Jean Imbert. Interview\u00e9 le 9 juin dernier par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.challenges.fr\/\">Challenges<\/a>, un \u00ab\u00a0<em>expert des grandes tables<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb a vivement critiqu\u00e9 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Jean Imbert dans les cuisines du Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e. Il affirme\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<em>Dans cette magnifique cuisine, capable d\u2019accueillir une brigade de haut vol, l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Jean Imbert n\u2019est pas un choix coh\u00e9rent.<\/em> C<em>\u2019est comme demander \u00e0 un rockeur de faire un concert \u00e0 l\u2019Op\u00e9ra de Paris\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Conscient des critiques re\u00e7ues depuis sa nomination, Jean ne se d\u00e9monte pas. Toujours sur son compte Instagram\u00a0:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0<em>Je sais aussi que rien n\u2019est acquis et qu\u2019absolument rien ne sera facile.<\/em> <em>Bien entendu beaucoup de gens vont douter de mes capacit\u00e9s pour ce poste. Il faudra que cela soit exceptionnel pour paraitre tout juste bien. Avant de dire et d\u2019\u00e9crire que je ne vais pas \u00eatre \u00e0 la hauteur, on pourrait peut-\u00eatre attendre de voir mon projet et me laisser une chance, non ?<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Un beau pied de nez \u00e0 ses d\u00e9tracteurs\u00a0!
